“Crusher Bergamo Vs Son Goku! Which Has Sky-High Strength?!” is the title of Dragon Ball Super Episode 81!
We now know that, the exhibition match will roll up to the third round, from the preview summary that we got it sounds like, a winner will be decided based on the rounds won. If that is indeed the case, this is confirming that on the upcoming Episode 80; either Gohan loses, or the match will end in a tie, making 3rd round not only the decider of this match but also the fate of all the Universes.
Because Bergamo is going to make a proposal to Goku’s homie Zeno; that is, if Universe 9 wins The Omni King will withdraw the destructive consequences of The Tournament of Power. It is being implied that sometimes before that match everyone will come to know about that rule. So, basically it comes down to Goku’s hands once again, he can willingly lose the game to unfu*k the entirety of existence. Even though Goku becomes blind when it comes to prioritizing and fighting is on the list. We don’t think he is selfish enough to risk 12 Universes directly. Goku ignoring the warning from Beerus and reminding Zeno has more to do with the fact that he was too dumb to realize how crazy his little friend can get, than him directly deciding to get a survival battle for the sake of his pleasure.
So, I bet Goku will try to undo this, but whatever happens at the end this rule is going to stick, because the name of the arc itself is ‘ Universal Survival’, and the concept here is fighters like Gohan will train with their 100% for surviving, going against their natural preferences. Also, from the very beginning, the Tournament of Power has been marketed that way. So, looking a bit above the internal factors we are assuming it will not be withdrawn entirely if withdrawn it will come back with a surprising twist.
Before the match starts, Bergamo will slick talk everyone and turn them against Universe 7. That was bound to happen sooner or later, as U7 is the Universe putting all others at risk. Since, The Great Priest already unveiled that Goku is the one behind this tournament; all other Universes are now pissed off with him. In the tournament, surely everyone will go very hardcore specifically Universe 7, and will grab every opportunity to take their grudge out. However, Goku is someone who would actually end up loving this, in the opening Goku looks dangerous, and so pumped up some even said he looked kinda evil. So, I am expecting to see Goku, like never before, doing crazy things as he will finally get the challenge his heart desires.
‘Dragon Ball Super Episode 83’ title is rather interesting, “ The Righteous Warrior Toppo Bursts In “. The context is missing here, as we are way behind currently. We are currently going through the exhibition match involving U7 and 9, but Toppo is from U11. So, this could be like a sudden outrage of frustration towards Goku maybe? Or perhaps we get a separate segment with Toppo very outrageously recruiting his team back in Universe 11?
Because, in ‘ Dragon Ball Super Episode 84 ‘ The Universe 7 representative team will be formed, an episode every fan is looking forward to watching. We already know apart from the 3 in this match; Vegeta, Piccolo, Tien, Master Roshi, Krillin, Android 17 and 18 will join in. It will be fun to see how they persuade and prepare inactive fighters like Roshi or how 17 returns.
